Job Description

The Public Area Supervisor oversees cleanliness, presentation and maintenance of hotel public spaces, including lobbies, corridors, restaurants, elevators and guest facilities. Responsibilities typically include supervising public-area attendants, assigning shifts, inspecting standards, coordinating with housekeeping and engineering, monitoring supplies, responding to guest requests and ensuring health, safety and Shangri-La service procedures are followed. Candidates should have previous experience in hotel housekeeping or public-area operations, strong attention to detail, good communication and team leadership skills. Physical fitness, flexibility to work shifts, weekends and public holidays, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced luxury hotel environment are expected.
