The General Technician supports the hotel’s Engineering team by carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance across guest rooms, public areas and back-of-house facilities. Duties may include basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, air-conditioning and equipment repairs, as well as responding promptly to maintenance requests. Candidates should have relevant technical training, a recognised trade certificate or comparable practical experience, and preferably previous experience in hotel or building maintenance. A reliable, safety-conscious and service-oriented attitude is essential. The role requires physical fitness, good troubleshooting skills, willingness to work shifts, weekends and public holidays, and the ability to communicate in Cantonese and basic English. Familiarity with hotel engineering systems is an advantage.
