Job Description

This role typically supports the assessment and authorisation of information systems, ensuring they meet Australian government, client and organisational security requirements before approval for use. Responsibilities may include reviewing security controls, conducting risk assessments, preparing authorisation documentation, identifying compliance gaps, coordinating evidence and working with technical and business stakeholders. Candidates are generally expected to have experience in cybersecurity governance, risk management, compliance or information assurance, with knowledge of frameworks such as the Information Security Manual, Essential Eight, PSPF or ISO 27001. Strong analytical, documentation and stakeholder-management skills are important. Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, ISO 27001 or government security experience may be advantageous.
