Job Description

UGL labourers support construction, maintenance and infrastructure projects across Australia. Typical duties may include site preparation, materials handling, manual excavation, cleaning, equipment assistance, traffic control support and general labouring under the direction of supervisors and tradespeople. Candidates are generally expected to hold or obtain a construction White Card, follow workplace health and safety procedures, safely perform physical work, and work effectively as part of a team. Depending on the project, a driver’s licence, relevant plant or equipment tickets, prior construction or industrial experience, and the ability to pass medical, drug and alcohol screening may be required. Flexibility for outdoor work, travel, rostered shifts, regional locations and changing project demands is commonly expected.
