Pressure Welder

Job Description

The Pressure Welder will perform high-quality welding on pressure vessels, pipework and associated plant in accordance with approved procedures, Australian Standards and site safety requirements. Applicants are generally expected to hold relevant Australian welding qualifications, pressure-welding experience, coded welding tickets and strong knowledge of welding procedures, inspection requirements and workplace safety. Experience in power generation, oil and gas, mining, rail or heavy industrial maintenance is advantageous. The role requires accurate documentation, the ability to interpret drawings and weld maps, physical fitness, reliable teamwork and a willingness to work shifts, shutdowns or remote projects. Candidates must demonstrate sound workmanship, attention to detail and a strong commitment to UGL's safety and quality standards.
