Office Cleaner - Grade 1

Job Description

The Office Cleaner – Grade 1 is responsible for maintaining clean, hygienic and presentable office, staff and shared areas. Typical duties include vacuuming, mopping, dusting, cleaning bathrooms and kitchens, emptying bins, restocking supplies and following site cleaning procedures. The role generally requires attention to detail, reliability, physical fitness, safe manual-handling practices and the ability to work independently. Previous commercial cleaning experience is useful but may not be essential. Candidates are expected to follow workplace health and safety rules, use cleaning chemicals correctly, respect confidentiality, communicate professionally and maintain consistent standards. A willingness to work assigned shifts, complete site inductions and cooperate with supervisors and other employees is also expected.
