Job Description

The Security Assurance and Assessment Officer supports Metrobank’s information security assurance program by assessing technology controls, identifying vulnerabilities and compliance gaps, reviewing risk treatment plans, and coordinating remediation with business and IT teams. Requirements typically include a bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, cybersecurity, or a related field; experience in security assessment, IT audit, risk management, or compliance; and familiarity with frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, COBIT, or PCI DSS. Certifications such as CISA, CISSP, or Security+ are advantageous. The candidate is expected to have strong analytical and report-writing skills, sound judgment, attention to detail, professional communication, and the ability to manage multiple assessments while protecting confidential information.
