Major employment hubs include Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide, and Canberra, while regional areas often need skilled workers. Australian workplace culture is generally practical, direct, collaborative, and respectful of work-life balance. Lifestyle varies from busy metropolitan living to relaxed coastal or regional communities, with strong outdoor, sporting, and multicultural influences. Housing and transport costs can be high in Sydney and Melbourne, so salary and location should be considered carefully.
