Job Description

The Marketing Manager will lead marketing activities for Al Samriya, Autograph Collection, including brand positioning, campaigns, digital channels, partnerships, content, public relations support and performance reporting. Candidates are typically expected to hold a degree in marketing, communications, business or hospitality, with several years of hotel, luxury, lifestyle or destination marketing experience. Strong knowledge of digital marketing, social media, campaign planning, copywriting and analytics is important. The role requires excellent English communication, creativity, commercial awareness, organisation and the ability to work with hotel operations, sales and Marriott brand teams. Experience in Qatar or the wider Gulf region, along with the ability to manage agencies and multiple deadlines, would be advantageous.

Company Info

Al Samriya, Autograph Collection is a Marriott-affiliated luxury hospitality property in Doha, Qatar. Autograph Collection Hotels is known for distinctive independent-style hotels, each designed around its own character, story and sense of place while benefiting from Marriott International’s global systems, standards and loyalty network. The property combines upscale accommodation with dining, leisure and guest experiences aimed at both local and international visitors. Its setting in Al Samriya offers a more tranquil, resort-like atmosphere away from central Doha, while remaining connected to the city’s business, cultural and entertainment districts. The hotel’s marketing team is expected to promote its individual identity, experiences and commercial performance through creative campaigns, digital engagement, partnerships and strong coordination with sales and operations. Employment may provide exposure to luxury hospitality, Marriott processes and Qatar’s expanding tourism market.

Destination Guide

Qatar is a compact Gulf country rather than an island, with Doha as its main employment and lifestyle hub. Hospitality, tourism, aviation, events, retail, finance, technology and construction offer regular job opportunities, particularly for experienced international candidates. The culture blends Islamic traditions with a highly international expatriate community; modest dress, respect for local customs and consideration during Ramadan are important. Lifestyle options include beaches, desert excursions, museums, shopping malls, restaurants and major sporting events. Summers are extremely hot, while the cooler months are ideal for outdoor activities. Most overseas employees require an employer-sponsored work residence permit, and the company normally arranges the visa, medical checks and identification process. Before relocating, confirm housing, transport, insurance, annual flights and contract benefits. Doha is generally safe, but living costs and accommodation prices vary considerably by area and employer package.
