The Recreation Attendant – Wet Deck supports the safe, clean and enjoyable operation of the hotel’s pool and wet-deck areas. Requirements typically include previous experience in pool, beach, recreation or hospitality operations, good swimming ability, customer-service skills and a professional command of English. The successful candidate is expected to welcome guests warmly, arrange loungers and pool equipment, maintain cleanliness, follow health and safety procedures, monitor pool activity, respond to guest requests and report hazards or incidents promptly. A valid lifeguard or first-aid certification may be advantageous, depending on the property’s requirements. The role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, flexibility for shifts, and the ability to work outdoors in hot weather, including weekends and public holidays.
