Job Description

The Junior Sous Chef supports the Sous Chef and Executive Chef in managing daily kitchen operations, food preparation, cooking, plating, and service. Requirements typically include professional culinary training, previous experience in a hotel or high-volume restaurant kitchen, knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards, and the ability to lead or guide junior team members. The candidate is expected to maintain consistent food quality, control portions and waste, follow recipes, monitor stock, support menu execution, and ensure the kitchen remains organized and compliant with Marriott standards.
