Job Description

The Laundry Attendant is responsible for sorting, washing, drying, pressing, folding and distributing hotel linen, uniforms and guest laundry. Requirements generally include good physical stamina, attention to detail, reliability and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hotel environment. Previous laundry, housekeeping or commercial cleaning experience is useful but may not be essential. Candidates should be comfortable standing for extended periods, handling laundry equipment safely, following hygiene and chemical-handling procedures, and working flexible shifts including weekends and public holidays. The role also requires teamwork, a professional attitude and consistent standards of cleanliness and presentation.
