Job Description

The Sous Chef supports the Executive Chef in managing daily kitchen operations, food preparation, menu execution, quality control, hygiene, and team supervision. Candidates should have professional culinary experience, preferably in a luxury hotel or high-volume restaurant, with strong knowledge of international cuisine, food safety, kitchen cost control, and inventory management. Culinary training or certification is advantageous. The role requires leadership, organization, creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure, including weekends and holidays. The successful candidate is expected to coach kitchen colleagues, maintain Marriott standards, reduce waste, ensure consistent presentation and taste, and contribute to a safe, respectful, and productive working environment.
