Destination Guide

Thailand offers varied hospitality opportunities across Phuket, Koh Samui, Krabi, Pattaya and other resort destinations, including front office, food and beverage, housekeeping, wellness and guest relations roles. Naka Island is reached by boat from Phuket and provides a peaceful, nature-focused lifestyle, while Phuket offers hospitals, shopping, restaurants and broader social amenities. Thai culture values politeness, respect, calm communication and appropriate dress, especially around temples. Living costs vary, with accommodation and transport usually more expensive in major tourist areas. Foreign employees generally need a Thai employer-sponsored Non-Immigrant B visa and work permit before legally working; requirements should be confirmed with the employer and Thai authorities. Relocation planning should include passport validity, medical checks, insurance, housing, transport and rainy-season considerations. Basic Thai phrases are helpful, although English is widely used in tourism.
