Job Description

The Reservations Manager oversees the hotel’s reservations function, ensuring accurate bookings, strong room controls and excellent guest service. Responsibilities typically include managing the reservations team, monitoring occupancy and room availability, coordinating with Front Office, Sales and Revenue Management, handling booking enquiries, reviewing rates and ensuring Marriott standards are followed. Candidates are expected to have hotel reservations or front-office experience, leadership skills, sound knowledge of property-management and central-reservation systems, and strong communication abilities. Commercial awareness, attention to detail, problem-solving skills and the flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment are important. Experience with Marriott systems or similar hotel technology is advantageous.
