Job Description

The Food & Beverage Attendant – Banquets supports the smooth delivery of conferences, weddings, meetings and other events at Sheraton Grand Sydney Hyde Park. Responsibilities typically include setting up function rooms, serving food and beverages, clearing tables, replenishing supplies, following service standards and assisting with event breakdown. Candidates should have strong customer-service and communication skills, a professional presentation, attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a busy environment. Previous hospitality or banquet experience is desirable, although training may be provided. Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays is expected. Responsible Service of Alcohol certification may be required for relevant duties.
