Job Description

The Demi Chef (Western) supports the kitchen team in preparing Western dishes to consistent quality and presentation standards. Candidates should have formal culinary training or relevant kitchen experience, practical knowledge of Western cooking techniques, food hygiene, portion control and basic kitchen safety. The role requires good knife skills, attention to detail and the ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately. The successful candidate is expected to work efficiently during busy service periods, maintain a clean and organized workstation, control food waste and cooperate professionally with chefs and colleagues. Flexibility to work shifts, weekends and public holidays is normally required in a hotel environment.
