Job Description

The Barista prepares and serves high-quality coffee, tea and other beverages while providing warm, attentive service to hotel guests. Requirements typically include previous café, restaurant or barista experience, sound knowledge of espresso preparation, milk texturing and food-safety standards, and the ability to operate coffee equipment confidently. Strong communication, teamwork and customer-service skills are essential. The successful candidate is expected to maintain a clean and organised workstation, follow recipes and presentation standards, manage busy service periods, process orders accurately and support other food-and-beverage duties when required. Flexibility to work mornings, weekends and public holidays is important. Hospitality qualifications and experience with premium or hotel service are advantageous but may not be essential.
