As part of The Luxury Collection, the resort focuses on distinctive design, locally inspired experiences, personalized service, and a strong sense of place. Its guests typically include international leisure travelers, honeymooners, and visitors exploring Komodo’s marine and natural attractions. The property combines resort accommodation with restaurants, wellness facilities, recreation, and curated excursions. Employees work in a multicultural environment where discretion, warmth, cultural awareness, and attention to detail are important. Destination Guide

Labuan Bajo, on Flores Island, is Indonesia’s gateway to Komodo National Park and offers opportunities in luxury hotels, restaurants, marine tourism, diving, guiding, transport, and wellness. The town is smaller and more relaxed than Bali, but tourism is growing quickly, so service professionals may find strong seasonal and long-term prospects. Local culture blends Flores traditions, Catholic communities, Indonesian customs, and nearby coastal influences; respectful dress and courteous behavior are appreciated. Lifestyle centers on beaches, boat trips, sunsets, seafood, and outdoor activities, although shopping and nightlife are limited compared with major cities. Foreign employees normally need employer sponsorship and the appropriate Indonesian work and stay permits; working on a tourist visa is not permitted. Employers may assist with documentation, accommodation, meals, transport, and flights. Relocation involves tropical weather, higher prices for some imported goods, and limited specialist healthcare, so insurance and careful preparation are recommended.
