Candidates should have practical experience in hotel, commercial, or residential painting and polishing, with knowledge of surface preparation, paint mixing, coatings, sanding, and finishing techniques. The role requires attention to detail, good color awareness, safe handling of tools and chemicals, and the ability to work neatly with minimal disruption to guests. Reliability, physical stamina, teamwork, and flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays are expected. Basic communication skills and a commitment to Marriott’s quality, safety, and guest-service standards are also important.
