Job Description

The Cook prepares and presents high-quality food in accordance with Moxy Sydney Airport and Marriott standards. Requirements typically include commercial kitchen experience, knowledge of food safety and hygiene procedures, the ability to follow recipes and portion controls, and relevant Australian food-handling or cookery qualifications such as Certificate III in Commercial Cookery. The successful candidate is expected to work efficiently in a busy hotel kitchen, maintain clean and safe work areas, support the wider kitchen team, minimise waste, and deliver consistent food quality. Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays is generally required, together with teamwork, reliability and a positive attitude.
