HVAC Technician

Job Description

The HVAC Technician is responsible for installing, inspecting, maintaining, and repairing air-conditioning, ventilation, refrigeration, and related mechanical systems throughout the hotel. Candidates should have a technical diploma or vocational qualification in HVAC, refrigeration, or mechanical engineering, along with practical experience in hotel, commercial, or building-services maintenance. Knowledge of electrical controls, pumps, compressors, chilled-water systems, preventive maintenance, and safety procedures is expected. The successful candidate should be able to troubleshoot faults quickly, respond to guest and operational requests, maintain accurate service records, and work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays. Good communication, teamwork, reliability, and a strong commitment to Marriott’s service and safety standards are important.
