Destination Guide

The United Kingdom offers employment opportunities in logistics, warehousing, transport, healthcare, technology, finance, retail and professional services. Its culture is diverse and generally values punctuality, personal responsibility, politeness and a healthy work-life balance. Living costs vary considerably: London and the south-east are expensive, while many northern cities, Wales and parts of Scotland are more affordable. Public transport is widely available, although a car may be useful for warehouse locations outside major towns. For international workers, eligibility depends on nationality and immigration status. Most non-UK nationals need an appropriate visa, and employer sponsorship is required for eligible Skilled Worker roles; basic warehouse positions may not qualify. Check current requirements on GOV.UK before accepting an offer. Relocation planning should include accommodation, transport, National Insurance, tax registration and healthcare arrangements.
