Manager, Public Cloud Security - Cyber Security Defense Department (CSDD)

Job Description

This role leads public cloud security initiatives within Rakuten's Cyber Security Defense Department. Responsibilities are likely to include designing and operating security controls for cloud environments, monitoring threats, managing vulnerabilities, improving incident response, and coordinating with engineering and infrastructure teams. Candidates should have substantial experience with public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, along with knowledge of cloud security architecture, identity and access management, network security, logging, and compliance. Experience managing security projects or teams, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in English and Japanese-related business settings are expected. Security certifications and experience with DevSecOps, automation, and large-scale enterprise environments would be advantageous.
