Destination Guide

Australia offers hospitality opportunities across hotels, resorts, restaurants, cafés and tourism businesses, particularly in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Queensland’s Gold Coast and regional resort areas. Workplace culture is generally practical, friendly and team-oriented, with strong attention to safety, punctuality and fair employment conditions. The lifestyle can include beaches, outdoor activities, multicultural food and a good work-life balance, although living costs are high in major cities. Australia is a continent and country rather than one island; the Gold Coast is a coastal city in Queensland. People usually need an appropriate visa, such as a Working Holiday visa, employer-sponsored visa or student visa with work rights. Check current rules through the Australian Department of Home Affairs. Relocation planning should include accommodation, tax-file registration, health insurance, transport and sufficient savings for initial expenses.
