The Reservations Agent Intern supports the reservations team by handling booking enquiries, entering and updating reservations, communicating room rates and availability, and maintaining accurate guest information in the hotel system. Candidates should ideally be studying hospitality, tourism, business, or a related subject and have good communication, organization, and basic computer skills. Previous hotel or customer-service experience is helpful but may not be essential. The successful candidate is expected to be professional, guest-focused, reliable, attentive to detail, and willing to learn Accor procedures and reservation systems. Fluency in English is normally required; Arabic or additional languages are an advantage. Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays may be expected.

Its portfolio includes well-known brands such as Sofitel, MGallery, Pullman, Novotel, Mercure, ibis, Fairmont, Raffles, and Mövenpick. Accor focuses on guest service, responsible tourism, employee development, and creating distinctive experiences through its diverse hotel brands. Alwadi Hotel Doha – MGallery Collection is a luxury boutique property in Msheireb Downtown Doha, combining contemporary design, Qatari heritage, refined dining, wellness facilities, and personalized service. As part of Accor, the hotel offers interns exposure to international hospitality standards, professional reservation systems, and practical experience in a multicultural working environment. Internships may also provide opportunities to learn about hotel operations and build a foundation for a future career in hospitality.
Qatar is a compact Gulf peninsula rather than an island, with Doha as its main employment and lifestyle centre. Hospitality opportunities are available in luxury hotels, restaurants, resorts, airlines, events, tourism, and customer service. The work culture is professional and multicultural, with English widely used and Arabic valued. Doha offers modern malls, museums, beaches, desert excursions, sports facilities, and an expanding public transport network. Summers are extremely hot, while winter is generally pleasant. Employers commonly sponsor eligible overseas employees for a work visa and Qatar ID, usually arranging a medical examination, residency permit, and employment contract. A tourist visa does not permit employment. Interns should confirm whether accommodation, meals, transport, insurance, and return flights are included. Before relocating, verify the offer, recruitment fees, visa arrangements, working hours, and local labour conditions. Modest dress and respect for Islamic customs are advisable, especially during Ramadan.
