Job Description

The Maintenance Manager is responsible for the safe, reliable and efficient operation of the hotel’s building systems, plant, equipment and facilities. Requirements typically include relevant trade or engineering qualifications, practical experience in hotel, commercial or facilities maintenance, knowledge of electrical, mechanical, plumbing and HVAC systems, and a strong understanding of workplace health and safety. The successful candidate is expected to lead contractors or maintenance staff, coordinate preventative maintenance, respond to breakdowns, manage compliance inspections and control maintenance budgets. Good communication, organisation, problem-solving skills and the ability to work flexibly around hotel operations are essential.
