Job Description

The Front Office Assistant Manager, also known as Duty Manager, supports the Front Office Manager in delivering smooth guest arrivals, departures and daily hotel operations. Requirements typically include previous experience in hotel front office or a similar supervisory role, strong knowledge of reception procedures, excellent communication skills and confidence using hotel property-management systems. The successful candidate is expected to lead by example, resolve guest concerns professionally, coordinate with other departments, monitor service standards and make sound decisions during each shift. Flexibility is important, as the role normally includes weekends, evenings, public holidays and rotating shifts. A positive attitude, professional presentation, attention to detail and the ability to remain calm in a busy airport-hotel environment are essential.
