Company Info

Novotel Sharjah Expo Centre is an Accor-operated hotel in the United Arab Emirates, positioned close to Expo Centre Sharjah and serving business, exhibition, leisure and group travelers. Novotel is Accor’s internationally recognised midscale hospitality brand, offering practical accommodation, contemporary dining, meeting facilities and family-friendly services. The property benefits from its location near Sharjah’s exhibition district and accessibility to Dubai, making it relevant to corporate guests, events, conferences and regional tourism. As part of Accor, the hotel operates within a global network with established standards in guest service, commercial performance, sustainability and employee development. The Cluster Director of Sales & Marketing supports the hotel’s wider business objectives by coordinating sales and marketing activity across participating properties, building corporate and MICE relationships, and increasing room, event and food-and-beverage revenue.

Destination Guide

The UAE is not an island but a federation of seven emirates, including Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah. It offers strong opportunities in hospitality, tourism, aviation, retail, events, finance, technology and construction, with especially active demand for experienced hotel professionals. The culture combines Arabic and Islamic traditions with a highly international workforce; modest dress, respect for local customs and awareness of Ramadan practices are important. Lifestyle options range from beaches, desert activities and malls to museums, restaurants and global entertainment. Employers generally sponsor an employment visa, work permit, medical examination and Emirates ID, although requirements vary by contract and nationality. Before relocating, confirm salary, housing, insurance, flights, gratuity and probation terms. Sharjah is more conservative and often less expensive than Dubai, while commuting between the emirates can be lengthy. A valid passport, authenticated qualifications and a clear employment contract are commonly required.
