Job Description

The Room Attendant is responsible for cleaning and servicing guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors and other assigned areas to Sofitel standards. Duties typically include making beds, replacing linen and amenities, vacuuming, dusting, reporting maintenance issues and respecting guest privacy. Candidates should be reliable, physically fit and comfortable standing, bending and lifting during shifts. Previous housekeeping or hotel experience is helpful but may not be essential, as training is often provided. The role requires strong attention to detail, good time management, a professional appearance and a friendly, discreet manner. Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends and public holidays is expected, along with the ability to work independently and as part of a multicultural team.
