Security Officer

Job Description

The Security Officer is responsible for protecting guests, employees, property and assets at Fairmont Southampton. Typical requirements include previous hotel, security, military or law-enforcement experience; strong observation, communication and customer-service skills; physical fitness; professional presentation; and the ability to work rotating shifts, weekends and holidays. First-aid, CPR, fire-safety or related certifications are advantageous. The successful candidate is expected to patrol the property, monitor access and surveillance systems, respond calmly to incidents, prepare accurate reports, support emergency procedures and work discreetly with hotel departments and local authorities. A valid right to work in Bermuda and satisfactory background checks will normally be required.
