The Head Mixologist leads the resort’s bar operations, creating innovative cocktails, maintaining beverage standards and ensuring memorable guest experiences. Requirements typically include several years of bartending or mixology experience, preferably in an upscale hotel, resort or international hospitality environment; strong knowledge of spirits, cocktails, wine and responsible service; and good communication skills. The successful candidate is expected to supervise and train the bar team, manage stock and costs, develop menus, maintain hygiene and safety standards, and work effectively during busy service periods. Creativity, leadership, attention to detail, a professional appearance and a genuine interest in guest service are important.
