Security Officer

Job Description

The Security Officer is responsible for protecting guests, colleagues, hotel property and company assets at Shangri-La in Hong Kong. Duties typically include patrolling the premises, monitoring CCTV and access points, responding to incidents, preparing reports, assisting guests during emergencies and enforcing hotel safety procedures. Candidates should have relevant security or hospitality experience, good physical fitness, sound judgment and a calm, professional manner. A valid Hong Kong security personnel permit is generally required, while first-aid, fire-safety and emergency-response training is advantageous. Good communication skills in Cantonese and English are expected; Mandarin is helpful. The successful candidate should be observant, service-oriented, dependable and willing to work rotating shifts, overnight duties, weekends and public holidays.
