Job Description

The Sales Manager is responsible for developing business, achieving revenue targets and building strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, event planners and other market segments. Candidates should typically have a diploma or degree in hospitality, business or marketing, along with several years of hotel sales experience, preferably in an international or luxury property. Strong communication, negotiation, presentation and networking skills are essential. The successful candidate is expected to identify new accounts, maintain existing partnerships, prepare sales plans, conduct client visits, support hotel promotions and work closely with revenue, marketing and operations teams. A results-focused attitude, professional appearance, knowledge of the local market and flexibility to travel or attend events are also important.
