Job Description

The Senior Security Officer is responsible for protecting guests, colleagues, property and hotel assets at Shangri-La in Hong Kong. Typical requirements include relevant hotel, corporate or law-enforcement security experience, good knowledge of emergency procedures, incident reporting and access control, and the ability to work rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays. Candidates should be physically fit, observant, calm under pressure and confident handling emergencies, investigations and guest concerns. Strong communication skills in English are expected; Cantonese and Mandarin are valuable. A valid Hong Kong security personnel permit or eligibility to obtain one, together with first-aid or fire-safety training, may be required. The successful candidate is expected to maintain professional standards, confidentiality and excellent guest service while supporting the hotel's safety policies.
