The Senior Technician – Carpenter is responsible for maintaining, repairing and improving wooden fixtures, furniture, doors, ceilings, flooring and other interior finishes throughout the hotel. Candidates should have relevant carpentry or building-maintenance experience, practical knowledge of hand and power tools, and the ability to read basic technical drawings. Hotel or luxury-property experience is advantageous. The role requires strong attention to detail, safe working practices and the ability to respond promptly to maintenance requests. The successful candidate is expected to work independently and as part of an engineering team, coordinate with other departments, maintain high presentation standards and deliver reliable repairs with minimal disruption to guests. A trade qualification, good communication skills and flexibility for shifts, weekends or public holidays may be required.
