Job Description

The Director of Sales leads the hotel’s sales strategy, revenue-generating activities and business development efforts. The role typically requires substantial experience in hotel sales, strong knowledge of the Malaysia hospitality market, proven leadership ability and an established network of corporate, leisure, group and event contacts. Candidates should be commercially minded, confident in negotiation and presentation, and comfortable managing targets, budgets and sales performance reports. The successful candidate is expected to develop new accounts, maintain key client relationships, support brand positioning, coordinate with revenue and marketing teams, and coach the sales team. Excellent English communication skills are normally required; additional languages, relevant hospitality qualifications and experience with luxury or international hotel brands are advantageous.
