The Service Manager - Front Office (Duty Manager) oversees daily front-office operations, ensuring smooth arrivals, departures, guest services and effective coordination with other departments. Candidates are generally expected to have a diploma or degree in hotel management, several years of experience in front-office or guest-relations roles, and strong knowledge of hotel systems and operating procedures. Excellent English communication, leadership, problem-solving and customer-service skills are essential. The successful candidate should be confident handling complaints, supporting the front-office team, maintaining service standards, managing emergencies and representing Shangri-La professionally. Flexibility to work shifts, weekends and public holidays is required, along with a polished appearance and a genuine hospitality mindset.
