Job Description

The Sales Manager is expected to drive room, events, corporate and leisure business for Shangri-La in Malaysia. Typical requirements include a diploma or degree in hospitality, business or marketing, several years of hotel sales experience, strong knowledge of local and international markets, and a proven record of meeting revenue targets. The successful candidate should be confident in client presentations, contract negotiation, account management and sales reporting. Excellent communication, relationship-building and organizational skills are essential. Experience with luxury hotels, corporate accounts, travel agencies and online distribution channels is an advantage.
