Job Description

The Service Associate – Engineering (A/C Technician) is responsible for maintaining, repairing and troubleshooting air-conditioning and refrigeration systems throughout the property. Candidates should have vocational training or a technical qualification in air-conditioning, refrigeration, mechanical or electrical engineering, along with practical experience in hotel, commercial or building services maintenance. Knowledge of HVAC equipment, preventive maintenance, safety procedures and basic electrical systems is expected. The successful candidate should be physically fit, dependable, service-oriented and willing to work shifts, weekends and public holidays. Good communication skills, careful record keeping and the ability to respond quickly to guest and operational requests are important. Experience in a luxury hotel or with a recognized trade certificate would be an advantage.
