Job Description

The Security Manager is responsible for protecting guests, colleagues, property and assets while maintaining a welcoming hotel environment. Requirements typically include relevant security or hospitality experience, supervisory or managerial background, strong knowledge of emergency procedures, incident reporting, access control and local safety regulations. Experience in a luxury hotel, resort, law enforcement or military setting is advantageous. The successful candidate should be physically fit, calm under pressure, trustworthy and confident in handling emergencies, investigations and guest concerns. Strong communication, leadership, observation and decision-making skills are expected, together with the flexibility to work rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays. Singapore security licensing or other locally required credentials may also be necessary.
