Destination Guide

Malaysia offers hospitality opportunities in Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Langkawi, Kota Kinabalu and other resort destinations. Event professionals can find work in hotels, convention centres, destination resorts, restaurants and wedding venues. Penang combines heritage culture, excellent food and a relaxed island lifestyle, while Langkawi offers beaches, nature and resort-focused employment. Malaysia is culturally diverse, with Malay, Chinese, Indian and indigenous communities, and English is widely used in tourism. Living costs vary, with resort islands generally more expensive than smaller mainland cities.
