Job Description

The Public Area Supervisor oversees cleanliness, presentation, and maintenance of hotel public spaces such as lobbies, corridors, lifts, restrooms, and recreational areas. Requirements typically include previous hotel housekeeping experience, supervisory skills, strong attention to detail, and knowledge of cleaning procedures and health and safety standards. The successful candidate should be organised, physically capable, service-minded, and able to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays. They will supervise attendants, inspect completed work, coordinate with engineering and front office teams, respond to guest requests, manage supplies, and maintain Shangri-La’s standards of cleanliness and hospitality.
