Job Description

The Security Executive supports the hotel’s security operations, protecting guests, colleagues, visitors, property and company assets. Responsibilities typically include conducting patrols, monitoring CCTV and access points, responding to incidents, preparing reports, assisting with emergencies, enforcing hotel procedures and coordinating with the police or other authorities when necessary. Candidates should have relevant security or hospitality experience, good communication skills, sound judgment and a professional appearance. A security licence or relevant training may be advantageous. The role requires reliability, discretion, physical fitness, computer literacy and the ability to work rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays. Shangri-La would expect a calm, service-minded candidate who can handle confidential matters and maintain high standards during busy hotel operations.
