Job Description

The Senior Events Manager is responsible for planning and delivering conferences, weddings, meetings and other large-scale events, while supporting revenue and guest satisfaction targets. Requirements typically include a diploma or degree in hospitality, event management, business or a related field, together with several years of hotel or events experience. Strong knowledge of event operations, budgeting, contracts, sales coordination and client relationship management is expected. The successful candidate should be commercially minded, organised and confident when negotiating with clients and coordinating multiple departments. Excellent communication, leadership and problem-solving skills are essential, along with flexibility to work weekends, evenings and public holidays when events require it.
