Job Description

The Service Leader - Engineering (Chargeman) is responsible for supervising hotel engineering operations, including electrical systems, building services, preventive maintenance, repairs, and compliance with Malaysian safety regulations. Candidates should hold a valid Malaysian Chargeman competency certificate, such as A0, A1, A4, or an equivalent qualification, with relevant experience in hotel, resort, commercial, or facilities engineering. Strong knowledge of electrical distribution, generators, HVAC, pumps, fire systems, and building maintenance is expected. The successful candidate should be practical, safety-conscious, dependable, and able to lead technicians, coordinate contractors, respond to breakdowns, and maintain accurate records.
