Assistant Financial Controller

Job Description

The Assistant Financial Controller supports the hotel’s financial controller in managing accounting operations, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, internal controls, cash flow, audit coordination and compliance with company policies and Hong Kong regulations. Candidates are generally expected to hold a degree or professional qualification in accounting or finance, with relevant experience in hotel finance, hospitality or a comparable organization. Strong knowledge of financial systems, month-end closing, management reporting and statutory requirements is important. The role requires sound analytical ability, accuracy, discretion and effective communication with operational departments and senior management. Candidates should be organized, commercially aware and capable of meeting deadlines in a fast-paced luxury hotel environment. Familiarity with hotel accounting systems and qualifications such as ACCA, CPA or equivalent would be advantageous.
