Company Info

Shangri-La is a global luxury hospitality group founded in Asia, operating hotels, resorts and related hospitality businesses across many countries. The group is recognised for warm Asian hospitality, high service standards and a broad portfolio ranging from city hotels to beach and island resorts. Shangri-La properties typically offer accommodation, restaurants, bars, event facilities, wellness services and guest activities. The company places strong emphasis on guest satisfaction, operational quality, employee development and teamwork. Destination Guide

Malaysia offers hospitality opportunities in Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Langkawi, Sabah and other resort destinations, especially in food and beverage, rooms, events and guest services. The culture is multicultural, with Malay, Chinese, Indian and indigenous influences, and English is widely used in hotels. Lifestyle varies from busy urban living to relaxed beach or island communities; food, nature and relatively affordable daily costs are major attractions. Foreign employees normally need an employment pass or other work authorisation arranged and sponsored by the employer before starting work. Relocation usually involves securing accommodation, medical checks, immigration paperwork and local banking. Island roles may provide staff housing, meals or transport, but applicants should confirm these benefits, working hours, contract terms and exact location with Shangri-La before accepting an offer.
