Security Officer

Job Description

The Security Officer is responsible for protecting guests, employees, property and hotel assets at Shangri-La in Hong Kong. Duties typically include patrolling the premises, monitoring CCTV and access points, responding to emergencies, managing incidents, preparing reports and supporting fire and safety procedures. Candidates should be physically fit, alert, professional and able to remain calm under pressure. Previous hotel, security or customer-service experience is preferred, along with good communication skills in Cantonese and English. A valid Hong Kong security personnel permit or the ability to obtain one is normally required. The role involves shift work, including nights, weekends and public holidays, with a strong expectation of discretion, integrity, teamwork and excellent guest service.
