Software Engineer

Job Description

The Software Engineer develops, tests, deploys and maintains secure, scalable applications supporting ANZ’s banking services. Requirements typically include professional software development experience, proficiency in languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript or C#, and familiarity with APIs, databases, cloud platforms, automated testing and CI/CD practices. Experience working in Agile or product-focused teams is valued. Candidates are expected to write reliable, maintainable code, contribute to technical design, troubleshoot production issues, follow security and risk controls, and collaborate effectively with product managers, designers and other engineers.
